End User License Agreement — Kakei AI

This application (the "App") is licensed, not sold, to you by HiroBuilds. Your use of the App is governed by this Agreement, the Apple App Store Terms of Service, and Apple's standard EULA. By downloading or using the App, you agree to all terms of this Agreement.
01 License Grant
We grant you a personal, worldwide, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the App on your iOS device. This license is solely for your personal use in accordance with the terms of this Agreement.
02 Core Principles: Privacy & Local-First
No Account Required
We do not require you to create an account and therefore hold no identifying information about you.
Data Ownership & Responsibility
Your financial data is stored locally on your device or in your personal iCloud space. We cannot access or own your data. Because the developer does not store your data, we cannot recover or restore it if you lose data due to not enabling cloud sync, not backing up, switching devices, or uninstalling the App. We bear no liability for such data loss.
03 AI Features & Disclaimer
The App integrates both on-device (MLX/Qwen) and cloud-based (Google Gemini) AI technology:
Not Professional Advice: All analysis, categorization, or predictions generated by AI are for reference only. AI may produce inaccurate information (hallucinations).
Limitation of Liability: The App does not constitute formal investment, legal, or tax advice. We bear no liability for any direct or indirect financial losses arising from reliance on AI-generated results. Please consult a professional before making significant financial decisions.
04 Third-Party Technology & Attributions
The App integrates the following third-party components and complies with their respective licenses and terms of service:
A. Open Source Libraries & Models
MLX Framework: Licensed under the MIT License (Copyright © 2023 Apple Inc.).
Qwen Model: Licensed under its applicable open-source license (Apache 2.0 / relevant copyright notices).
B. Service Platforms & APIs
Firebase (by Google): The App uses Firebase Crashlytics for anonymous crash diagnostics to improve stability. Data processing follows Google's Privacy Policy.
Supabase: Exchange rate data in the App is powered by Supabase. Related services are subject to Supabase's Terms of Service.
Google Gemini API: If you choose to enable this feature and provide your own API Key, connections and data processing are subject to Google's AI Terms of Service.
C. Third-Party API Key Security
Key Storage: Your API Key is encrypted and stored in the system-level Keychain.
Cost Responsibility: You are solely responsible for any third-party service charges incurred through the use of your own API Key.
05 Payments & Subscription Management
Payment Processing: All paid features (including subscriptions and one-time purchases) are transacted exclusively through the Apple App Store.
Refund Policy: All billing and refund requests are handled and determined by Apple. The developer cannot directly process payments or refunds on your behalf.
06 Lifetime Purchase
Definition & Scope: A "Lifetime Purchase" grants permanent access to current paid features for the duration the App remains available on the App Store. "Lifetime" refers to the product's lifecycle, not the purchaser's natural lifespan.
End of Life: If the App is removed from the App Store due to force majeure (e.g., Apple policy changes, inability to continue the technical architecture, or developer discontinuation), we will provide 30 days' notice. After removal, users who have already downloaded the App may continue using existing local features, though we cannot guarantee permanent compatibility with future iOS versions.
Maintenance Obligation: A lifetime purchase does not obligate the developer to provide indefinite maintenance.
07 Prohibited Conduct
You may not attempt to reverse engineer, extract source code from, or use the on-device model logic integrated in this App for commercial purposes without permission.
The developer bears no liability for App malfunction or data breaches resulting from illegal device tampering (e.g., jailbreaking).
08 Changes & Governing Law
We reserve the right to update features or terms at any time. In the event of a dispute, both parties agree that the laws of the developer's jurisdiction shall govern.
